About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our custom cabinetry team in Burnaby.
This is not an entry-level Mozaik position. We need someone with deep experience using Mozaik and a strong understanding of how to build, manage, and improve a complete manufacturing system within the software.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new custom cabinet products and construction methods
- Creating and managing parametric cabinet assemblies
- Building and maintaining libraries, materials, hardware, and machining standards
- Improving engineering and production workflows
- Ensuring designs are accurate, buildable, and ready for manufacturing
- Troubleshooting complex Mozaik and production issues
- Helping us use Mozaik to its fullest potential across design, engineering, and manufacturing
- Review cabinet designs and identify production issues
- Work with designers to resolve construction and technical problems
- Interpret drawings and specifications accurately
- Generate CNC files, cut lists, and production packages using Mozaik V14
- Ensure all jobs are fully accurate before going to production
- Understand material yield, cabinet construction, and installation requirements
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Experience:
- Mozaik V14 : 1 year (preferred)
- AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred)
- Mozaik software: 4 years (required)
- Kitchen cabinet engineering : 4 years (required)
