Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify mechanical issues promptly.
- Perform repairs using hand tools and power tools to restore equipment to optimal working condition.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Replace worn or damaged parts with precision, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently by diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Working hours will include evenings & weekends during winter season
Experience
- Proven experience working with mechanical systems, including familiarity with various types of machinery or vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, systems, and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively for repair tasks.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment where safety and quality are top priorities is preferred.
