Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Team Lead to join our team at Mount Moriah Homes in Canada. This leadership role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our youth, aligning with our mission and core values.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8am-4p and 12p-8p on a rotating schedule. As well as 2 Saturday's or Sunday's out of the month.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities within the care team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and integrity among staff and clients.
- Implement policies and procedures that promote safety, ethical standards, and continuous improvement.
- Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Address concerns or issues promptly to maintain a positive environment.
- Contribute to strategic planning and program development initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in social services or community support settings.
- Strong understanding of ethical standards, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in youth care.
- Education: Degree or diploma in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
