Customer Service Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Community Manager and/or the Assistant Community Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day management of the main reception office including the scheduling, operation and coordination of supplies and services, telecommunications and technology needed to support the company’s business operations. The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of clerical and support functions as may be required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
High school graduation and successful completion of Office Administration or similar certification

Ability to type a minimum of 55 wpm

Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office; Excel including formulas, Word including formatting, Powerpoint and Outlook

Experience in operating and administering an electronic payroll and scheduling program

Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize work

Effective customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

Organizational skills

Experience in Home and Community Care an asset

Able to anticipate needs and take initiative to complete work in the absence of direct supervision and constant direction

Evening Host/Servers

DESCRIPTION / DUTIES:
This position requires an organized and enthusiastic person who possesses the desire to provide exceptional resident experience at every meal. Reporting to the kitchen manager, the dietary aide is responsible for food service to residents and guests, with great attention to detail.

Completion of high school

Desire to improve and maintain high level of quality of life for residents

Housekeepers

DESCRIPTION / DUTIES:
This position requires an organized and enthusiastic person who possesses the desire to provide exceptional resident experience at every opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience providing housekeeping services, ideally in a care environment, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to maintain Golden Life standards of cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of high school

Experience in a seniors care environment an asset

A positive attitude and drive to improve quality of life for residents and their guests

Resident and Guest Attendant

DESCRIPTION / DUTIES:
The person in this position delivers personal care services, home making services, social/recreation programming, housekeeping, and laundry services. Assist with meal service in the dining room and tray service to resident rooms as required. The RGA follows the resident care plan and completes documentation as required, and reports any changes in functional capacity, mood or health status to the community manager or designate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
