The Sweet North is in need of experienced Customer Service team mates. As a part of our team, you will assist the daily operations of our Indigo, Fort William Road and/or High Street locations. If you are an individual with excellent people skills and unlimited enthusiasm, you can find lots of room for growth within our organization.
Weekday / day time availability preffered
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
-Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of The Sweet North.
- Excellent communication skills
-Maintains a calm demeanour during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard.
-Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
-Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
-Food preparation, serving pastries, making custom espresso beverages, handling cash and credit card transactions, cleaning duties, opening and closing duties
-Must available through the holiday retail season
Must have safe food handling
Wage starts at $17.60/hr (based on experience) plus tips (avg $3-$4/hr)
Benefits package for full time employees after 3 month probationary period
