At Stringer Sales we are Manufactures Representatives striving to exceed the industry standard in customer service while offering the plumbing & heating industry's latest and most innovative products while continuing to build and maintain client relationships for the manufactures we represent.
We are looking to add and a motivated career focused sales professional our outside sales team in the Edmonton area. Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating and Hydronics is an asset but not necessarily mandatory for the right candidate.
The Outside Sales Professional will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for servicing existing clients while expanding Stringer Sales current geographical footprint and sales efforts. The Outside Sales Professional will work closely with the inside sales team and the General Manager to develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy to meet the companies goals and objectives.
The Outside Sales Professional will be responsible for increasing sales and marketing presence in order to increase profitability, competitive-ness and market positioning of the company. The Outside Sales Professionals must be willing to travel in western Canada 7 – 10 days per month.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement a personal sales plan to ensure sales, budget and revenue goals are met. Create timely customer call plans and reports and update related activities in the CRM.
- Explore and generate new business relationships. This includes providing market intelligence for establishing forecasts for customer growth in new markets, and for development of new and existing products and services.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive client list, communicate with and call on potential and current customers to increase sales and grow market share and provide technical support when necessary.
- Negotiate and close new sales agreements.
- Continually sharpen your skillset and abilities through attendance of appropriate sales and training courses.
- Some level of technical background and understanding is preferred.
