Job Title: Greenskeeper 4

Reports To: Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or 2nd Assistant Superintendent
Job Description:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Greenskeeper 4 contributes to the overall appearance, playability, and functionality of the golf course. This role involves performing routine turf maintenance, operating equipment, and assisting with general upkeep of the course and related facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut and maintain greens, tees, collars, and approaches
- Change pins and adjust tee block settings
- Maintain bunkers using hand rakes or mechanical rakes
- Operate trim mowers for greens, tee surrounds, and designated turf areas
- Use triplex mower attachments to perform turf maintenance tasks
- Operate ride-on rollers to maintain greens quality
- Use powered hand tools including line trimmers, rotary mowers, edgers, and turf cutters
- Operate utility vehicles to transport staff and materials
- Assist with project work such as course construction, bunker renovations, drainage, sod installation, cart paths, and retaining walls
- Clear debris using blowers and leaf collection equipment
- Perform hand watering throughout the golf course
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 10 education
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically capable of performing manual labour in an outdoor environment
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining course standards
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience is an asset
Schedule:
- Full-time / Seasonal (adjust as needed)
- Early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required
