Job Summary
Fieldstone Counselling & Wellness is growing, and we are looking to welcome two independent contractor therapists to our team.
Fieldstone is a grounded, relational, and community-focused counselling practice serving Mount Forest, ON and surrounding rural communities. We provide evidence-based, compassionate therapy for children, youth, adults, couples, and families. Our work is rooted in warmth, professionalism, clinical integrity, and the belief that people can build something steady from what life has placed in their path.
We are currently seeking registered therapists who are interested in building meaningful clinical work within a supportive private practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients' needs
- Collect and document data related to client progress and treatment outcomes
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines for independent practice
Skills
- Experience working with children, youth, adults, and families
- Preferred areas of specialty can include art therapy, child-centered play therapy, youth counselling, family support, anxiety, emotional regulation, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, depression, mood concerns, burnout and compassion fatigue, grief and loss, self-esteem and confidence, relationship concerns
- CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, narrative, somatic, or emotionally focused approaches
Qualifications
Applicants must be registered, or eligible to practice independently, with one of the following:
- Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, RSW
- College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, RP or RP qualifying
Applicants should also have:
- Professional liability insurance
- Training and experience appropriate to their scope of practice
- Strong documentation and ethical practice standards
- Comfort working as an independent contractor
- A warm, professional, and client-centered approach
- Interest in contributing to a growing rural counselling practice
Contractor Arrangment and Compensation
These are independent contractor positions offering a competitive contractor split of 60% to 70% of session revenue, based on experience, qualifications, clinical specialization, availability, and current caseload.
Fieldstone supports contractors with a warm and professional therapy space, referral development, online booking, practice management systems, marketing support, and opportunities to grow within a community-rooted counselling practice.
Pay: $90.00-$120.00 per hour
