Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative team. In this flexible contractor role, you can set your own fees and schedule while delivering client-centered, evidence-informed care. You will support children, families, and parents in developing functional skills, sensory regulation, and daily life independence, all within a nervous system–friendly framework.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for infants, children, and families
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting functional skills, sensory processing, fine/gross motor development, and self-regulation
- Collaborate with other clinicians to provide coordinated care across disciplines
- Support families with education, coaching, and strategies to promote home and community participation
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Ontario
- Experience with pediatric populations, perinatal clients, or families preferred
- Knowledge of nervous system regulation, sensory integration, and trauma-informed care
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
