Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other specialized techniques.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized massage plans.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness practices.
- Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress for future reference.
- Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and post-treatment advice clearly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calming demeanor during sessions.
- Good standing with CCHPBC
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence in managing client sessions.
