Position Summary
QRC Logistics is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Mississauga warehouse operation.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse activities for one of our dedicated flooring customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Raymond Reach Trucks and Counterbalance forklifts, accurately processing inventory using handheld RF scanners and our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and safely performing physically demanding material handling duties.
This is an active, hands-on warehouse position where no two days are exactly alike. We are looking for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in operating equipment safely, and understands the importance of accuracy, productivity, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesForklift Operation
- Safely operate Raymond Reach Trucks and Counterbalance forklifts throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently while following all safety procedures.
- Put away incoming inventory into designated warehouse locations.
- Retrieve product from warehouse racking for customer orders.
- Stage outbound shipments for loading.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns promptly.
- Operate all material handling equipment in accordance with company safety policies.
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming flooring products.
- Accurately pick customer orders using handheld RF scanners.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery by wrapping, staging, and organizing freight.
- Perform inventory movements and location transfers within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Follow customer-specific handling procedures to minimize product damage.
- Support general warehouse duties as required.
Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Inventory Control
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process warehouse transactions.
- Print pick slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
- Process inventory receipts, shipments, and product movements accurately within the system.
- Utilize handheld RF scanners to complete inventory transactions and order picking.
- Verify inventory accuracy and report discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Manual Material Handling
- Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, roll, and position heavy flooring products throughout the workday.
- Manually handle large rolls of flooring safely and efficiently.
- Perform repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, reaching, and carrying throughout the shift.
- Work independently and alongside teammates to safely move oversized products.
- Maintain productivity while performing physically demanding work.
Please Note: This is a physically demanding warehouse position. While forklift operation is an important part of the role, successful candidates must also be comfortable performing continuous heavy manual labour throughout each shift.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report hazards, equipment issues, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Promote safe work practices throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Valid Forklift Certification is required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating both Raymond Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts.
- Experience using handheld RF scanners.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience printing Bills of Lading, shipping documentation, labels, and warehouse paperwork.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to safely perform continuous heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable with a strong attendance record.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
