Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic dermatology clinic team, which includes 4 LPNs, 1 MOA, and 4 physicians. Our clinic focuses on skin cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment.
This position is 0.6 - 1 FTE, depending on your scheduling flexibility, and shifts include Mon-Fri 8-4 pm, with some evening and Saturday shifts starting in January.
Work responsibilities include:
- accurately charting for the physicians
- filling out necessary laboratory requisitions
- preparing and cleaning rooms
- setting up trays for surgery
- administering local anesthetics
- assisting in surgical procedures
- reprocessing instruments
- helping out with reception duties and contacting patients regarding results
- assisting with scheduling appointments and procedures
- restocking supplies including some minor lifting
- assisting with software training for new users
- acquiring Total Body Photography and dermoscopic images

- preferably have experience with TELUS MedAccess EMR
