Information and Analytics is responsible for the provision of data and IM/BI solutions across the business, with a specific focus this year on Merchandising, Finance, and Logistics, using the latest technologies to increase the adoption of self-service and embedded BI capabilities. In the Analytics space, this extends into the realm of advanced and predictive analytics which supports Data Driven Decision making capabilities within the retail space by generating actionable insights. All of this is supported by Data Governance to implement practical processes, tools and methodologies to enable the delivery of timely, accurate, complete and well-understood data to the organization.
Data Developer role will be dedicated to a cluster of projects within the strategic Information and Analytics Program. Working closely with the program delivery team, the Data Developer will be profiling data, develop packages for data remediation, develop an analytical foundation for the organization, and enabling extensive data-related reporting capabilities using both traditional querying techniques as well as existing COTS business intelligence platforms.
Communicate effectively with the application development teams, as well as technical SME’s in the business teams. Gather requirements for new BI solutions from multiple users.
Able to translate business requirements into actual solutions while maintaining a high level of accuracy and data integrity.
Develop database queries and procedures ensuring fast and effective data processing. Develop various data procedures aiming at selective or mass data changes in order to append or remediate master data according to the business rules provided by SME’s.
Develop reports presenting the results of data searches, profiling, or mining in various formats such as tables, structured reports, charts, dashboards, etc.
Act as a data expert for business SME’s and business users in all data related tasks that require data searches, mining, representation, and manipulation.
Act as Subject Matter Expert with regards to data querying, processing, and representation
Work closely with the Sr Data developers to maintain the existing solutions while looking for improvement opportunities for them. Collaborate with other team members to consolidate the data landscape to reduce the development time and increase consistency among BI solutions
Automate manually generated KPI metrics reports.

Licensing & Other Qualifications
Advanced SQL skills using SQL Server, Teradata, or Oracle with no less than 2 years of experience in this area
Knowledge of Business Warehouse of technologies, no less than 1 years of experience in this area
Practical knowledge of a 1-2 Business Intelligence tools
Dashboard optimization knowledge and experience leading to an ability of creating appealing and effective visual dashboard and reports
Nice to have: experience with data visualization software such as Tableau or similar
Good problem solving and analytical skills
