Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant standards
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with food plating and garnishing for service
- Stock and organize kitchen stations, ensuring all supplies are readily available
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and service
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, including serving guests when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and cooking methods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic kitchen experience with familiarity in using kitchen tools and equipment
