Technical Support Analyst-Information Technology
Toronto, ON
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services, this position will ensure that our employees are responsive, nimble and efficient by providing them with the technical support that they need as we move towards new technologies and platforms.

To be successful, you’ll need to possess:
  • Post-secondary degree in IT or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar IT Technical Support role.
  • Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, Windows XP, Mac, OSX, Phone, Fax, Printer Mobile Devices, VPN and Microsoft office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.
  • Demonstrated poise, confidence and professionalism to interface with all levels of the business.
  • Excellent organizational, customer service and problem solving skills.

  • Deliver an exceptional level of IT support to all levels of the business.
  • Configure software and systems for new users and provide first line technical support.
  • Assisting in creating IT documentation, instructions, procedures and processes.
  • Training users on company systems, software and network.
  • Perform Systems and PC’s updates/upgrades and maintenance of company hardware.
  • Escalate urgent issues to direct manager or an outsourced service provider as appropriate.
