Requirements:
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must be eligible to work in Canada (visit the Government of Canadaif you are unsure)
- You must have a clean criminal record
- You must have Security Guard Licence
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activity
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and crisis management protocols
- Excellent observation skills with the ability to quickly identify potential security risks
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
