As a Central Mountain Check In (CMCI) Front Desk Agent you will be the face of the resort - greeting and assisting guests from around the world. You will need to be up-to-date on resort information to be able to communicate with resort guests. Most importantly, you will need to provide our guests with friendly, efficient and professional service.
Duties and responsibilities:
Managing direct, wholesale and group guest check-ins and check-outs following all correct procedures
Making walk-in reservations, ensuring all bookings adhere to Big White Central Reservations' payment and cancellation policies
Making shuttle bookings, ensuring all pertinent information is collected and shuttle schedules and policies are adhered to
Taking cash, credit card and debit card payments as necessary
Ensuring accurate information is provided to all clients with respect to all Big White Ski Resort and Central Reservations products
Running daily end-of-shift audit reports and completing the daily shift audit
Ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times
Answering and assisting with all incoming telephone calls to the front desk
Assisting guests with all questions and reasonable requests
Troubleshooting all guest issues/problems, and assisting guests with all questions and reasonable requests
Developing a good understanding of the village layout to be able to give directions to all units in the rental pool of 250 condominium units
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
Assisting with any other reasonable requests as made by a Central Reservations Manager
