Canada Steel Service Centre has established a strong reputation among its customers for high-quality excellent service and just-in-time (JIT) delivery. Efficient utilization of JIT and one-stop shopping philosophies enables our Company to serve over 4,000 customers who consider CSSC their main steel supplier. Headquartered in London Ontario, CSSC operates four facilities, and employs over 60 employees. Locations include branches in London, Goderich, Sarnia and Cambridge. CSSC sells hot-rolled, cold-rolled, aluminum, stainless and other types of specialty metals.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for an energetic, reliable and teamwork oriented individual who has a positive attitude and will provide excellent service to our customers. Must be flexible and available to work overtime. This is a full time permanent position. The DZ driver is responsible for deliveries throughout Southwestern Ontario, and will provide first class customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Operating DZ stake truck within Canada Steel's fleet
- Assisting in loading and unloading trucks
- Ensure loads are properly secured
- Perform pre/post trip inspections
- Assisting forklift drivers (load building) and general labour duties
- Maintains regular communication with customers/sales staff regarding service & delivery matters
- Maintains a safe driving record
- Maintains truck to safety standards and good working order
Qualifications:
- DZ driver's license (experience an asset)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment safely
- Good attendance record and dependable
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience in the steel industry would be an asset
Compensation:
