Overview
We are a new Italian restaurant located in North York and are looking for a passionate and experienced Line Cook to join our team.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, committed to quality, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new restaurant from the beginning and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including cutting, portioning, and mise en place.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen tools.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen position.
- Experience with Italian cuisine is considered an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
