KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening and closing the retail store
- Monitoring cash float and completing daily balancing paperwork
- Acting as the face of our brand by guiding customers through our diverse product offerings
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining store stock and clean
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 2–4 years in retail or hospitality. Experience sampling wine or spirits preferred
- Certification/Licences: Smart Serve Certified
- Education: Diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience considered)
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Ontario’s Liquor Licence & Control Act, AGCO Retail Store Handbook. Product knowledge is an asset.
- Age: Minimum 19 years (legal requirement to sell alcohol in Ontario)
- Background check required
- Detailed Oriented and reliable
WORKING CONDITIONS AND SCHEDULE
- Part-time and Full-time position
- Typical schedule Monday to Saturday 9:45am - 6:15pm and Sunday 11:45am - 5:15pm.
- Availability on Holidays (overtime as applicable)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs cases and stand/walk for extended periods while on store floor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
