Your Mission
Positioned in Kelowna, British Columbia, you will carry out inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and provide a mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical support to customers in Western Canada (off-site). You will also be required to complete the necessary reports and share the handling of emergency calls.
Your skills and abilities
- 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Red Seal certification (an asset)
- Technical skills in mechanics
- Technical skills in hydraulics and/or electrical LV circuits (an asset)
- Able to read mechanical blueprints/schematics
- Able to read electrical and/or hydraulic blueprints/schematics (an asset)
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license
- Valid and unrestricted passport
- An interest in working at heights on occasion
- An interest in working outdoors
- An interest in travelling within Western Canada, sometimes for several days at a time
- Focus on customer service (troubleshooting)
- Be available to work on weekends on occasion and/or as needed
- Be physically fit to lift loads of up to 25 kg
- Willingness to make short business trips within North America on rare occasions
