Overview:
Safety is the number one priority and you will need to follow group policies, promote safe working practices. Lafarge Earle Creek Mine on the Sunshine Coast is hiring Laborers to join our team!!!
Responsibilities:
- General laborer duties associated with all aspects of mine operations including shoveling, organizing, painting,etc.

Operate light equipment as needed.

Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines

Perform other duties as assigned

Follow and adhere to all the Company’s safety procedures and directives

Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner

Act in a courteous manner in order to project a positive company image
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License

Overtime as required
-
Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.

Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 25 LBS on a regular basis.

Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required

Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
