Job Description - LPN ER
The Role: As an LPN in ER, you will provide patient care in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with acute medical conditions.
Responsibilities:

Conduct rapid assessments of patients to determine the urgency and severity of injuries or illnesses in a high-pressure environment.

Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians or advanced practice providers, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery.

Monitor and document vital signs and critical patient data, including lab results and diagnostic tests, with attention to detail.

Collaborate with the emergency healthcare team to develop and implement immediate care plans

Provide clear communication and support to patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.

Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff, adhering strictly to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:

Current and active licensure with CLHA (LPN)

Current and active BLS-HCP.
-
Current and active N95 Fit Test.

Valid VSS dated within 90 days of placement start date.

Minimum 6 months ER experience is required within the last 2 years.

Current and active CTAS is required.
