Job Summary
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a dining establishment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure all items are prepared timely and accurately
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Check on customers regularly to address any issues or additional needs
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions
- Clean and set up dining areas before and after service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math for handling payments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with food preparation processes in a restaurant setting
- Upselling skills to promote additional menu items
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
