Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction, and related trades, with the ability to perform installation, repair, and maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading, and the use of various tools. Candidates must hold a valid plumbing license and demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC technicians, and carpenters to coordinate project activities
- Conduct inspections to diagnose issues with plumbing systems and implement appropriate solutions
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project
Qualifications
- Valid licensed Plumber certification or license in good standing
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, and schematics reading
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related machinery
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
- Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Construction experience is preferred; familiarity with assembly processes is a plus
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving may be advantageous but is not mandatory
