Position Summary
KCC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the college’s marketing function across multiple campus locations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, focusing on driving student enrollment, strengthening brand visibility, and developing meaningful community and industry partnerships. The Marketing Manager will oversee campaign strategy, budget management, team coordination, and performance optimization to support institutional growth in collaboration with the Admissions team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with enrollment and brand goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define annual marketing objectives, KPIs, and success metrics
- Manage the annual marketing budget across digital, print, events, and partnerships
2. Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Plan and implement multi-channel campaigns across digital, email, social media, SEO/SEM, and more
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights on leads, conversions, and ROI
- Optimize the student journey from inquiry to enrollment
3. Digital & Content Marketing
- Manage the college’s digital presence across social media and websites
- Oversee content creation including blogs, videos, graphics, and landing pages
- Lead SEO strategy and paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
4. Team & Project Management
- Supervise internal marketing staff, agencies, and external vendors
- Manage marketing calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns
- Lead weekly planning meetings and project coordination
5. Community Partnerships & Business Development
- Build relationships with community organizations, employers, and industry partners
- Represent KCC at career fairs, open houses, and industry events
- Collaborate with Admissions, Recruitment, and Academic teams for aligned messaging
6. Event Marketing
- Plan and execute in-person and virtual events (info sessions, webinars, open houses)
- Evaluate event performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in education or service-based industries
- Proven experience in Digital Marketing, with a strong understanding of SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, campaign management, and analytics
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
