Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate needed inventory, fulfilling orders (customer and in house mechanics), and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. As a Parts Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our parts department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Process/Pick customer/mechanic orders and fulfill requests in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and completing follow ups
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding product availability and specifications
- Job creation/order/Receive parts & supplies within our systems (Jobutrax/Sage/Excel)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to keep productively enhanced.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi task effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with the oil and gas industry, experience with gas compression an asset but not a must.
- Experience in handling and order of parts
- MUST be reliable and responsible
- Must be Health and Safety conscious
- Must have at minimum class 5 driver's license in good standing & own transportation to and from work daily
Wages are dependent on Level of Certification/Experience.
Hours of work could be 7am - 4pm or 8am to 5pm. To be determined at time of hire.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
