Western Living Homes is looking for a Draftsperson. Responsible for Drafting & Design of homes for all Western Living Communities.
Western Living Homes Ltd. is a family owned & operated business, building in Edmonton & Area since 1982. We take pride in building homes for our clients, and construction homes that feature the latest in architectural & interior design.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and updating existing and custom plans
- Preparation and submitting for architectural consultant approval
- Preparation and submitting for development permits, building permits issued for construction (modelling, plotting, engineering, requesting and reviewing roof & floor layouts)
- Creating Black lines & marketing materials
- Working with Sales Team, Construction Team, Trade Partners & Clients
- Perform other duties as required
Experience & Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience drafting in the residential construction industry
- Experience with Revit essential (Photoshop, Sketchup, Word, Excel, Teams, would be considered beneficial)
- Knowledge of Provincial & National Building codes
- Creative, Organized, self motivated, ability to multi task
- Able to work independently and in a team environment

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Drafting Technologists & Technicians: 1 year (preferred)
- drafting: 1 year (preferred)
- Revit: 1 year (preferred)
