Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to transportation regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and other loads between locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on trucks as needed, including automotive repairs or troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe operation at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar heavy equipment operation role
- Must know how to drive 18 speed
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with automotive repair or basic troubleshooting skills is preferred
