Reporting to the Global Distribution and Logistics Director for BRP Parts, Accessories & Apparel, this role is responsible for leading inbound and outbound transportation activities, balancing the cost of the service with our dealer/customer experience. He or she leads a team responsible for the movement of materials from origin to our distribution network and then to our customers which include Dealers, Subsidiaries, International Distributors and our Direct Consumers. In addition, the role leads the strategic management of partner carriers, the budget and all transport activities. As the transportation leader, he or she will define strategies for the logistics / delivery network and develop highly efficient operational processes.
This position requires proven leadership skills, relevant experience in transportation management as well as a proven talent for negotiating and managing contracts and consistently delivering expected results in a rapidly changing environment
YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS (PA&A)
Lead, supervise and develop the global transportation team for PA&A.
Establish global transportation strategies for our regions in NA, EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions.
Participate in global RFQs, approve carrier selection, to support our global distribution strategy.
Develop and implement KPIs to measure performance to the quality, financial and service objectives.
Interpret the transportation regulations applicable in each region and ensure compliance.
Provide expertise and insights to all strategic projects involving transportation.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
7+ years of experience in Logistics & Transportation
Bachelor’s degree in Business or any related field or equivalent experiences, Master’s degree is a plus.
SAP Experience with TM. In addition, familiarity with, WM, IM & SD.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills as well as confidence in presenting information to all levels of management.
Passion for analysis and problem solving.
Recognized as a driven change agent.
Available to travel internationally.
