AECOM is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator (Onboarding) to be based at our Kincardine, ON location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area.

ABOUT US

The Shoreline Power Group is a Joint Venture of Aecon, AECOM and SNC-Lavalin. Shoreline Power Group will be completing the Fuel Channel and Feeder Replacement (FCFR) project. The joint venture has been awarded a contract by Bruce Power to execute the Unit 6 FCFR at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Kincardine, Ontario.

This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064, the project is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program to replace the main components of the reactor. Unit 6 is the first of six reactors being replaced by Bruce Power through the MCR program.

The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders for Unit 6, as well as construction management and trade labor. Work is scheduled to commence in June 2020, with expected completion in the third quarter of 2022.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator will be the primary systems administrator and support for the joint venture projects LMS.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The LMS Administrator reports to the Onboarding Training Manager. The LMS Administrator will work with the onboarding team to deliver a positive and effective onboarding experience for the workforce. The LMS Administrator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all training qualifications and personnel records in the LMS supporting our projects at the Bruce Power site.

Their general responsibilities will include the following:
+ Work with Onboarding Manager to build and maintain the project learning catalogues into the Learning Management System (LMS) with appropriate Items and Offerings

+ Assign training curriculums in the LMS

+ Onboarding & offboarding joint venture partner employee LMS profiles

+ Create scheduled offerings in the LMS

+ Cancel Scheduled offerings in the LMS

+ Upload New Training Items in the LMS

+ Record learning completion and close scheduled offerings

+ Enroll learners in scheduled offerings in the LMS

+ Manage registrations in the LMS

+ Establish and maintain a data integration process between Bruce Power and Aecon LMS

+ Create automated and adhoc LMS reports for management team

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Assists with nuclear on-boarding training coordination and qualification maintenance for new and existing project employees and other as delegated by Onboarding Manager

+ Project Managers, project personnel, estimating personnel

+ Trades personnel, union business agents

+ Various work locations in both field and office.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

+ Experienced administrator of Success Factors Learning Management System

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills

+ Strong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team

+ Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task / service oriented

+ Thrive on a fast paced-environment

+ Training coordination experience an asset

+ Nuclear Experience an asset

Preferred Qualifications

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

+ Due to the nature of work conducted by Shoreline, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment

+ Our background check process includes a full security check and clearance process as well as reference checks. The security clearance process includes a comprehensive list of previous residences, employment, education and other pertinent information. Those with a valid Bruce Power security clearance are strongly preferred.
