Blockpay Innovations is a Vancouver-based merchant services company and a registered agent of Fiserv Canada. We represent 1,000+ merchant locations across Metro Vancouver and Canada. We built that book one storefront at a time — and we're hiring the next wave of closers to keep building.
This is a true outside sales role. You'll be on your feet, talking to business owners, closing real deals with real money attached.
What You'll Do
- Knock on doors and meet with business owners across Metro Vancouver — restaurants, retail, professional services, salons, auto, e-commerce, anything that takes a card
- Pitch and close merchant processing accounts on the Clover POS platform (Clover Flex, Pocket, Mini, Station Duo, Solo, KDS, Kiosk)
- Build and run your own pipeline — your route, your sequencing, your style
- Submit applications, manage your CRM, and own your numbers end-to-end
- Provide reasonable post-sale support to merchants in your portfolio so the relationship sticks
You report on results. We don't track your hours, your route, or how you spend your day. We care that the deals come in.
What You'll Earn
- $3,015/month draw against commissions, paid in two installments (each month)
- Per-deal commissions:
- $200–$500 per device on equipment leases (depends on lease tier)
- $300–$650+ per device on equipment purchases
- Up to $1,170 commission on a max-tier purchase
- Setup Fee splits: Keep 50% of every Setup/Activation Fee you charge a merchant (up to $300 per merchant = $150 in your pocket per deal)
- Monthly target bonuses: $250 at 14 boarded accounts, $500 at 16, $750 at 18, $1,000 at 20, plus $250 for every 4 above that
- No commission caps. No territory caps. No earnings ceiling.
Realistic earnings: $5,000–$15,000+ per month for closers who put in the work. Top performers earn six figures. Slow ramps are normal in month one — most people hit target by month three.
Path to Management
Hit your monthly target (14+ approved boarded accounts/month) for two consecutive months and you become eligible to step into a Corporate Sales Team Lead role.
That means:
- Build and lead your own team of Corporate Sales Consultants
- Earn override commissions on every deal your team closes — passive income that compounds as your team grows
- Help shape the comp plans, training, and territory strategy for your division
- Get equity-style upside in the long-term residual portfolio you helped build

Who Fits This Role
- You've sold something difficult before — D2D, B2B, real estate, insurance, telecom, fitness memberships, financial services, anything where rejection is part of the job
- You'd rather earn $130K on commission than $75K on salary
- You're disciplined enough to put in a full day of doors without anyone watching
- You can have a real conversation with a 55-year-old butcher and a 28-year-old café owner with equal ease
- You have your own vehicle, smartphone, and a willingness to put serious mileage on the road
- You want to build something — not just clock in

We'd rather you self-select out now than churn out in month two. We've trained great closers. We've also seen good people realize this isn't their game. Both are fine — just be honest with yourself before applying.
Independent Contractor Engagement
This role is structured as an independent contractor engagement, not employment. You'll receive a Corporate Sales Consultant Agreement and Schedule B (compensation schedule) before you start. You set your own hours, methods, and schedule. You handle your own taxes (T4A at year-end, no source deductions). Incorporation is encouraged — we're happy to pay your business directly.
You're running your own sales practice, with our brand, our products, our processing relationships, and our support behind you.
