Laundry Attendant
Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to hotel standards
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect and identify stained or damaged items and report to supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area
- Stock and replenish laundry supplies as needed
- Assist with inventory management of linens and uniforms
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
- Collaborate with housekeeping team to ensure timely delivery of clean linens
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their care instructions
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
