Our client is looking for an experienced Foreman to oversee and manage field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. This hands-on role involves supervising daily field operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing project logistics.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate crew members during sewer installation/repair, drainage work, and related tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, grading plans, and site drawings to ensure accurate execution.
- Lay out and verify grades, elevations, and pipe alignment using laser levels, transits, and other tools.
- Oversee excavation, shoring, pipe-laying, backfilling, and compaction processes.
- Direct concrete formwork, pouring, finishing, and curing for structures like manholes, catch basins, curbs, and slabs.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations, trench safety protocols, and confined space procedures.
- Manage daily job site logistics, including equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontractors.
- Complete and submit daily reports, timesheets, and progress documentation.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to ensure high performance and safety standards.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in underground utility construction.
- Experience in a foreman or lead hand role.
- Strong knowledge of sewer, storm drain, and concrete construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret civil/construction blueprints and grading plans.
- Experience operating or directing heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, skid steers, compaction equipment).
- Working knowledge of trench safety and OSHA regulations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
