Intern - IT
Mississauga, ON / Full-time (Hybrid)
Pay rate $20.90 - $24.20(per hour)
The IT Intern provides basic, frontline technical support and helps maintain the company’s IT equipment and systems. Working under IT team supervision, the role troubleshoots common hardware, software and connectivity issues, assists with device setup and moves, manages support tickets, and helps keep IT inventories up to date — ensuring timely help for users while gaining practical hands-on experience.
Your responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive IT support to end-users through various channels, including phone, Microsoft Teams, email, and in-person interactions.
• Diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues efficiently across devices such as PCs, tablets, mobile phones, and printers to minimize user downtime.
• Manage the full lifecycle of support tickets, including prioritization, documentation, and timely resolution, while ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to network connectivity, server, shared drive, telecommunications, and application-related problems.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, relocation, and decommissioning of computer systems and software applications.
• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems (including Windows 11) and the full Microsoft 365 application suite, with an emphasis on Outlook.
• Manage and support mobile devices and tablets, utilizing mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune and iOS.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT hardware, software, and systems.
• Perform all other duties as assigned
Your Profile

Four-Year College Degree - Preferred

0-2 Years Basic iOS/iPadOS-based experience/knowledge - Preferred

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Proficient in Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to teach and train associates in all aspects of operations.
