We are looking for a Personal Care Attendant to assist a private female employer with providing personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living during the day.
Location:
- Cranbrook (near Pop Price Park)
Shifts & Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am to 2:00pm (or 3pm)
Compensation:
- $20 to $22 per hour for probationary period based on experience
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- All personal care including showering/bathing, dressing, grooming (skin care), and bowel/toilet routine
- Sit to Lift transfers
- Meal preparation (breakfast and lunch)
- Range of Motion - EMS therapy
- Assist Physiotherapists on Fridays
- Medication Administration
- Light housekeeping
- Outings with client with Handi Dart for appointments
Required Qualifications:
- Drivers License and reliable vehicle preferred
- Caregiving experience with Disabled Adults preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Comfortable working in an environment with a small dog
- Physically able to assist with physical transfers safely
