Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Take and serve customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Provide exceptional customer service by attending to guest needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and plating.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing transactions efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy periods.
- Assist with general kitchen duties such as dishwashing, cleaning, and stock replenishment.
- Uphold guest services standards by creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required.
