We are looking for a licensed plumber to join our team and play an important role in the continued growth of our plumbing division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and wants to be part of a growing team.
A well-stocked Mercedes Sprinter company vehicle will be provided for work use.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of residential and light commercial plumbing repairs, installations, and improvements.
- Complete service and renovation plumbing work to a high standard of workmanship.
- Read and interpret plans, measurements, and specifications.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with the Master Plumber, owners, foremen, and other team members.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with clients, subcontractors, and coworkers.
- Identify potential issues and communicate solutions or recommendations to the team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to expand your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute ideas and work collaboratively with the team as the plumbing division continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience.
- Valid plumbing licence required.
- Experience in residential plumbing; light commercial experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of common plumbing repairs, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Comfortable using a measuring tape and square and performing basic math calculations.
- Ability to read and work from plans and specifications.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable driving record.
