Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Truck Driver - ONLY USA RUNS to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving skills, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As an Owner Operator, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long and short distances.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and freight to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.
- Assist in securing freight properly for transit to prevent damage during transportation.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel for loading, unloading, and inventory management.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as an owner operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment and freight transportation.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments. PACAKAGES -
Compensation Details
- Rate:
- $2.00 per mile (Solo) ( 3 trips per week - one trip 1000) Average )
- $1.75 per mile (Team) (4 TRIPS MONTHLY) to California, WA, NV, OR
Extra Pickup/Delivery Charges
- $50 per stop – If the truck is driven by your hired driver
- $70 per stop – If the truck is driven by you
Layover Pay
- $100 per day – If the truck is driven by your hired driver
- $120 per day – If the truck is driven by you
Deductions & Fees
- Parking Fee: $100/month
- Transponder Fee: $15/month (USD)
- Decals: One-time cost (to be covered by the Owner Operator)
- Plates: Must be paid upfront (as per Ministry regulations)
- Fuel & Driver Pay: To be covered by the Owner Operators
- Insurance - Is covered by company
