Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Online Math and Physics IGCSE Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners' understanding of complex subjects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with diverse student populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions in Math and Physics for students at various grade levels.
- Explain complex concepts in an understandable manner, fostering student engagement and confidence.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Utilize computer skills to operate virtual tutoring platforms effectively.
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and understanding of curriculum topics.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging environment that promotes active learning and curiosity.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or students in an educational setting.
- Strong background in Math, Physics, or related STEM fields, with relevant classroom experience preferred.
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience, especially in online environments.
- Knowledge of special education needs and accommodations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
- Proficiency with computer skills and familiarity with virtual learning tools or platforms.
- A passion for education and helping students succeed in challenging subjects.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
