Zen Cleaning is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our growing team.
We are a values-driven cleaning company based in Nelson, BC. Our work is rooted in care, consistency, and respect for the spaces we enter. We support residential, commercial, and vacation rental clients by creating clean, calm, and well-cared-for environments.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning residential, commercial, and/or vacation rental spaces
- Following Zen’s cleaning checklists and service standards
- Caring for client homes and workspaces with respect and discretion
- Communicating clearly with the manager and team
- Reporting issues, supply needs, damages, or scope changes
- Arriving prepared, on time, and ready to work
- Representing Zen Cleaning with professionalism and care
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Has strong attention to detail
- Communicates warmly and professionally
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in private homes
- Has a smartphone and can use scheduling/checklist apps
- Has reliable transportation
- Has cleaning, hospitality, or customer service experience
Nice to have:
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Vacation rental or hospitality experience
- Experience working in lodges, retreats, or guest spaces
- Interest in growing into a team lead or management role over time
