The Dependable Emergency Vehicles team is looking for an experienced 310T Truck Mechanic that can diagnose, adjust, and repair all series of trucks and their components. This position will be working on fire apparatus and emergency vehicles . Ongoing In-house and Factory Emergency Vehicle Technician training will be provided for the successful Technician. Dependable is a growing company with 50 years of experience in the industry. Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues and make necessary repairs to fire trucks and emergency vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance and ministry of transport inspections on truck chassis and fire apparatus components
- Perform major repairs on engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, air brakes, transmissions, and all other parts of the apparatus
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Meet and exceed customers’ expectations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a valid 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic license
- DZ license and emergency services experience and/or knowledge considered an asset
- Understand and adhere to the Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
- Dependable, hardworking, punctual, and a reliable team player with a positive attitude
- EVT Certification is considered an asset
- Previous experience with motor coaches, transit buses, fire trucks & municipal vehicles preferred.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
