Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations, assist with medication management, and provide excellent patient care. Prior experience in hospital settings or pharmacy technician roles is highly valued, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription labels and package medications for patient pickup or delivery
- Maintain organized inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Manage documentation related to medication dispensing and patient records
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining pharmacy records
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, health regulations, and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospital pharmacy or as a pharmacy technician is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Kroll software is a must
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related healthcare fields is a plus

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
