Faces Medical Spa is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and client-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is experienced in advanced aesthetic treatments, enjoys educating clients, and has a strong understanding of skin science and treatment outcomes.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience performing laser and advanced aesthetic treatments and is comfortable providing customized treatment plans while delivering exceptional client care and results.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional laser hair removal treatments safely and effectively
- Conduct detailed skin consultations and develop customized treatment plans
- Perform advanced skincare treatments including:
- Medical facials
- Microneedling
- Photofacials / IPL treatments
- Skin tightening procedures
- Dermaplaning
- Chemical peels (if certified)
- Other non-invasive aesthetic treatments
- Educate clients on treatment expectations, aftercare, and skincare routines
- Maintain accurate treatment records and consent documentation
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment meet infection prevention and clinic standards
- Recommend skincare products and support retail sales when appropriate
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and treatment protocols
Qualifications
- Medical Aesthetician diploma or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical aesthetics (preferred)
- Strong experience with laser hair removal and advanced skincare treatments
- Knowledge of skin physiology, basic anatomy, treatment indications, contraindications, and aesthetic science
- Understanding of laser technologies and treatment parameters
- Strong communication and client consultation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience with waxing and threading
- Experience with additional aesthetic services and devices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Freelance
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
