Operations Supervisor Job Overview
Aerosports Oakville is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our indoor trampoline and adventure park.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe facility, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring daily operational tasks are completed efficiently. The successful candidate will lead by example, take ownership of the facility, and consistently create an outstanding experience for every guest.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly.
- Monitor online reviews and customer feedback and implement improvements where needed.
- Ensure all staff consistently meet AeroSports' customer service standards.
Operations & Daily Management
- Oversee the daily operation of the trampoline park, reception, café, party rooms, attractions, and common areas.
- Ensure all opening, operating, and closing procedures are completed accurately every day.
- Conduct daily operational walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues before opening and throughout the day.
- Maintain operational checklists and ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time.
- Monitor daily sales, staffing levels, labour costs, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members to achieve high performance.
- Train new employees on customer service, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and corrective action when necessary.
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak operating hours.
- Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture.
Facility Maintenance & Safety
- Ensure the entire facility is clean, organized, and well maintained at all times.
- Perform daily inspections of trampolines, climbing attractions, arcade, party rooms, washrooms, café, and all guest areas.
- Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance with vendors and management.
- Ensure maintenance logs, inspection records, and safety documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, TSSA, fire, and company operating standards.
- Immediately address any hazards or equipment concerns to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Inventory & Administration
- Monitor inventory levels for café supplies, party supplies, cleaning products, merchandise, and operational materials.
- Assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations, and POS accuracy.
- Complete daily reports, incident reports, maintenance reports, and shift summaries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in family entertainment, hospitality, recreation, retail, or a similar high-volume customer service environment.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading successful teams.
- Experience managing facility maintenance, daily operational tasks, and safety compliance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
