Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to promote recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management strategies, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings with a focus on acute care and pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to assess complex cases quickly and develop effective treatment strategies.
