We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Supervisor to join our team in Utopia, ON (just outside of Barrie, ON).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable legislation
- Mentor and oversee a team of approximately 5 - 10 skilled trade workers, licensed and apprentices
- Assign tasks and follow up on progress
- Schedule outside contractors as required
- Monitor supply of spare parts and ordering replacement parts as required
- Assist and guide trade personnel as required (repairs, troubleshooting)
- Complete administrative duties, (reports, MP2 CMMS, vacations)
Skills, Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed technician.
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Mechanic (421A) OR Red Seal Truck and Coach Technician (310T) with extensive equipment experience
- Experience with diesel lift-trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Experience working with Diesel Mi-jack Gantry Cranes repair and maintenance considered an asset
- Previous leadership experience is an asset.

- Rate of pay is $92,000 - $112,000 per year based on experience.
