Quick Tow – Tow Truck Operator (Experienced)
The Quick Tow team is currently hiring experienced and motivated Tow Truck Operators to join our organization. We are seeking dependable, professional individuals who present well to the public, work independently, and consistently perform in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on, results-driven role requiring strong technical ability, reliability, and attention to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of tow and recovery equipment including medium wreckers, slide tilt decks, tandem axle units, and tractor-trailer combinations
- Perform vehicle recovery, transport, loading, and securement safely and efficiently
- Adapt to different equipment types and operational demands as required
- Work independently with minimal supervision in all weather conditions
- Maintain professional conduct when interacting with customers and the public (limited public-facing role)
- Perform physical duties including repeated lifting of 50–80 lbs as required
- Complete daily operational tasks including logs, inspections, and securement procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract with minimal demerits or infractions
- Minimum 2 years of roll deck towing/recovery experience
- Strong experience in trailer loading and load securement
- Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally
- References required
Assets / Preferred Experience
- Class 1 license considered a strong asset
- Experience with single and/or tandem axle wreckers
- Equipment transport and multi-unit towing experience
On-site training may be provided for the right candidate who meets core requirements.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Optional on-call shifts available during busier periods
- Commission-based compensation structure
- Assigned dedicated unit with minimal truck sharing
- Limited public interaction for a more streamlined work environment
