We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of features and benefits
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure proper merchandising standards
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues efficiently
- Utilize marketing techniques to promote new products or special offers
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Support account management activities for repeat customers and loyalty programs
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, inside sales, or high-end sales environments
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, upselling, negotiation, and marketing strategies
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy retail setting
- Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating independent initiative
- Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of renovation or construction industry knowledge is beneficial for certain product lines
