Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paint Prep Technician to join our team in the aircraft component refinishing department.
The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn from the best technicians in the business and have excellent attention to detail. This is a highly rewarding career for the right candidate.
Further training in other areas is available.
Responsibilities
- Applying and finishing epoxy fillers.
- Applying surface protection products.
- Masking.
- Apply the correct product/paint for the repair.
- Cure coatings at the required time and temperature.
- Reading and understanding the various instructions and regulations involved.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience (2+ years) as a painter/refinish technician whether automotive or commercial.
- Ability to read and follow provided instruction sheets.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in Autobody repair is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
